About

I am a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in the treatment of mood, depression, anxiety, stress, and adjustment issues in children, adolescents, and young adults. I am trained in a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). In my practice, I deliver these interventions within the context of a supportive, validating, and collaborative therapeutic relationship, individualized to each client’s needs, preferences, and treatment goals. I am an Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology at William James College and co-direct Youth and Family Psychotherapy Services. I previously worked as a psychologist at Bradley Hospital and Brown Medical School. I completed my training at The Ohio State University, The University Illinois at Chicago, and Harvard University. I have published over 30 peer-reviewed journal articles on evidence-based treatment of mood and related problems in youth. I currently serve as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Child and Family Studies, and serve on the Editorial Board for Evidence-Based Practice in Child and Adolescent Mental Health. I have also received awards from the National Institutes of Health for my research.
